the server is what you make it. try to make some pals early on or join a guild early on. EQ is a social game. having those 2 in place early will help.

Before yesterdays patch, i didnt answer these kinds of threads, but my answer would have been no.

Its impossible to really tell what the server will look like in 2 months, but the patch to me is really a big step forward in making the population grow where before the patch things were made for the pop to deteriorate. So id say yeah, its worth it.

You might not find alot of people starting out, but with a little luck, youll start seeing more in a few.

The population is not a problem at all. Anything more would be too crowded in my opinion. If you want pvp you can always find it. If you want to be left alone you can do that too. On blue servers you don't have any of those options.

Freedom of choice is what makes this server #1 in my book. That and the comedy, never had so many luls playing everquest.

If you wanna play everquest you might as well play red. Blue has a lot of people but not a lot more going on.. just more people at level 60 crappin around.

No, the server is pretty dismal. People will try to get under your skin and act like 5 year olds.

Also hard to progress. Pop is super low, when pvp happens people just zoned in and out of zones. Maybe with xp loss being gone on PvP death it would change that...doubt.

don't do rogue if you want to level up easily.

just do it if you want to have fun with a rogue.

Really the only way to go is to play the class you want to have the most fun with. I made a Cleric and have been poor 100% of time on server for it because I just don't wanna build a pharming character.
