New toon

Just wondering, I hve recently started playing again currently on blue. I am wondering hat toon would you all recommend as a first toon on the pvp server. I'm sure ibwill be solo from what I have read which is fine but I would also like to be able to be half way decent in pvp. Thanks in advance for any suggestions

imo a caster is best first, not saying melee isnt doable but you will be doing without gear for awhile most likely
