Yaw it is slightly because I stuck up for you a number of times in the guild when you had your rage quits over other people. Lite told me multiple times fuck tunak etc., but I always had your back. When I saw Zibby was gone I didn't know wtf happened, and someone mentioned didn't Tunak have access? I said yeah but Tunak is cool man he would never do something like that. Obviously I was wrong. That's wrong. Agatha got rezzed by amelinda in lava storm. She summoned the corpses out of the lava and rezzed them. Same way they summoned azrael corpses to entrance of seb and rezzed them. Even the pve ones. Yet nihilum gets anything and the server is corrupt and impending doom. Cry more babies.

I know I was one of the clerics, after a quarter through Amelinda showed up and started rezzing them, im not sure why as far as I know it wasn't requested but either way it wasn't neccesary as we had already began the process.

Lol @ believing what he said in ooc of all places. He grinded back from like 41 to 60 himself. And as far as the rage quit comment goes, I already responded to that in the bind camping ss thread. He was more relieved then anything to be free of this server.

Also gotta qft @ last, Keep farming items to gear characters up for people that you will eventually have no one to fight until nihilum has to split in half and kick members just so they can pk people.

I should have learned my lesson by vztz 3.0 getting burnt out taking a 2 week break coming back to no box after all the time wasted away. The thing different here, This server will still be around but at the rate its going the population will be dwindled down to all nihilum and eventually just a few dozen people messing around at peak times.

How are people getting pvp rezed? Becuase they didn't do a god damn thing for party when he was deleveld from 59 to 51.... Over 100 corpses were expired and after many petitions he was told many times "there's nothing we can do". You need a box history lesson cause ur wrong on most counts. Not that I care ill spill some truth...

Azrael was never ressed in seb. Nice thought tho.

And Agathas corpses were ressed by Amelinda, after we beautifully dragged them and lined them up in order of rot timer.. Was really a sight to be seen tbh.. HB has too much time on his hands. The only reason Amelinda ressed them is because they were PvE deaths. GMs always have previously said that they will res PvE deaths but not PvP deaths..

Im not crying GM favoritism because I can't describe how little I care... but GMs need to stop getting involved with players PvPing.. If someone wants to pass out face down on the keyboard.. they deserved to be griefed. GMs think they are helping server health by deterring griefing but in reality they just piss a lot of people off.

Some people who have different circumstances can log in at work, or play late at night. It is not like this is not exactly how it was on live. Those guilds who could mobilize the most people on a moments notice are the ones who generally won.

My point is this.

If you can only down a boss when it falls into a small time window then your guild is not going to get a ton of boss kill. The guild which can kill in a much larger window will always get more kills long term.

You cannot expect the boss to always be in your prime kill time.

Classic EQ was managed by a West Coast based company (operating in Pacific Standard), and nearly every scheduled patch took place starting at either Midnight or 2AM PST.

Further, server crashes were not scheduled and never happened repeatedly at the same time like Project 1999's "simulated crashes" (3:30pm EST).

You and I both know this can be a Scheduled Task... Nice try tho on people who don't know any different... Coupled with the fact there is no way in hell any real "Release Management" would give a 2min notice on "Bringing Server Down" for scheduled Reboot..

Plain and simple... Scheduled bi-monthly reboot or whatever is needed could be setup to automatically happen without Rogean ever needing to intervene, and the community would know exactly what those days/time frames are, and can plan accordingly.

IT just always is conveniently on Nihilums prime time per se..

That's fine and dandy, but to hear "Oh shit its been 41 days and the server needs reboot asap" is a copout.... These reboots don't need Rogeans attention whatsoever Scheduled Task handles everything he would want to do.. Now if that fails, then yes Rogean would need to be present. But stating they always need to be on EST is false.. and I would hardly consider the last 2 being around 2-4pm EST a "prime time" for a reboot..

Nope, I'm nearly positive that I am not incorrect that they were in fact both server resets.

I for one do not get home during the week until ~9PM EST (west coast), Andis is similar, and Lite doesn't get on until usually an hour sometimes 2 before that. Kringe doesn't get finished with his work (though he farms golem wands while at work) until after 9PM.

Having so nicely painted this picture for you, are you now able to see what a load of bs these server resets are for us every time? It takes a week of hard fought grief infested pvp just to push these fights 1-2 hours back to where we can actually contest in guild v guild pvp with proper class balance/leadership.

But with this continually happening immediately after we gain the upper hand, why should we continue to bother?

If these resets actually happened regularly when we weren't contesting (which for about 4-5 weeks at one point we decided to stop, in order to level more people to 60) then I might be in agreement with you.

There was a server reset the week of our first Trakanon (you guys did kill it the next time it spawned at 5am, however the server magically reset either that day or the day after).

I count the Faydedar as a server reset (though it was a patch) even though you claim to have had the timer, I doubt you would have been able to muster a force at 3:30am EST.

Server reset after pushing the timer of CT back on at least one occasion, Ragefire once, Nagafen once.

Not to mention this most recent reset when the entire server was on a plate for us.

As for your numbers after resets...35 Nihilum online within 10 minutes of a reset twice in a row around the time Kringe came back, both times less than 20 Nihilum online prior to reset. One time was while we were sitting on 9 Nihilum corpses in Kithicor. And I can remember some noon resets/crashes (if u wanna call them that) on Ragefire where you guys had 30 people on immediately.
