In-game touchpad sensitivity issues

I had to uninstall and reinstall my mouse drivers for an issue unrelated to P1999, but now my touchpad is annoyingly insensitive in game. It frequently stalls until I pick my finger up and deliberately push and drag. I have no such issues outside of the game.

I browsed through some old posts and tried lowering my max FPS to 60, but still no dice. Any other ideas?

I would try messing with your mouse sensitivity and just see if that does anything (it probably won't).

Next try lowering the max fps allllll the way down to about ~30. I know, it's painful, but it may fix your problem.

Lastly, try installing eq window (or whatever the official name for that is). I've heard this can fix problems with mice.

If none of these solutions work please let me know and I will try to dig up some more answers for you.
