P99 and Xpadder

Two questions:

1) Wanted to make sure there's no problems with using programs like Xpadder with P99 (I doubt there are, but better safe than sorry)

2) Trying it out but can't seem to make it work. I assign WASD to the XBox 360 Controller sticks, but the commands don't seem to carry on to the game. Anyone tried it?
