Sirken we need a clarification on people stating the DT cycle in fear

Is it legal for a raid to start the DT cycle inside fear while their force is outside?

Scenario,

Raid A is inside clearing

Raid B is outside. Raid B sends someone in to start the DT cycle causing everyone on inside to be on the DT list. This forces the guild inside to camp or die from the DTs. Raid B then zones in after the cycle is started. By doing this they are not on the DT list.

I wanted to get a 100% clarification on this so there is no one banned/suspended without knowing.

I've noticed that this is one way P99 varies from live. Fearing engaged NPCs into other kos NPCs, rooting people on kos NPCs and dispelling mez/root/snare on CCed NPCs all seem to be considered viable tactics here. It's a shame if you ask me, but it is what it is.

To start a DT cycle, you need a raid force present in feerott or in plane of fear that is FULLY EQUIPPED, LOGGED IN, and ready to engage CT. With this being said, man up and go fight people and not chain DT cycle them! <braaaaaaawk braaaaaawk> That's right. I went there.

Trains are still not permitted in game. This includes pre-emptive trains (example: keeping mobs around the portal entrance for people zoning in.) I don't care if its for your guildy zoning in to CR or not. If there are mobs sitting at the portal in, and a player is causing it to happen, training will be assumed and much mad/bad/sad will be handed out.

If you or your guild is swarm kiting mobs, be VERY careful where these trains go if you gate out or get coth'd. If you drop aggro and that train just so "happens" to path back through an unsuspecting group of people, more madbadsad.

Nihilum did man up. We were in fear clearing and saw they were gathering outside. We had 20ish inside and they had 30ish outside. They were sending in Huff, Sirgey, Sektor in to start DT cycles. So we ported out to meet them outside. Once we got there it was 36 Azrael/Force vs 31 Nihilum at the fear portal with most Azrael up on the pillars. Nihilum won the fight after 20 min. We were sitting in front of the portal with all of their corpses.

We won they lost. But instead of accepting it Azrael decided to delay/grief us for 4 more hours with no intention of killing CT.

I went Merdian 59 to Ultima Online to Everquest to Wow and many in between.

You played on a "Blue Server" where Furor dictated everything... Few friends were in the guild and Furor would literally snap and say everyone "Get the fuck outta my zone", we are done... Very knowledgeable and brilliant guy when it came to PVE content, but definitely not a PVP enthusiast, as FOH got destroyed in every ToT.

A sullon like experience on a small server like this will just scare new people away. Enticing players to an older game means having a good community I think, and accountability. I gave away all my old SK gear, and two rubicite BP's to newbies, as well as most everything else I find I don't need. I try to spend a least a bit of time buffing and rezzing on my cleric.

I believe players here feel they are held somewhat accountable, or the training/dt starting wouldn't have been done with guildless throw away accounts. I'm a big fan of EQ, and the server in general, so my opinion is things like training and griefing are not going to add to the server, but make it suffer. It will appeal to the small 'win at all costs' crowd that wants nothing better than to remove competition and pvp for rez box training, and griefing.

As for DT's, you are using mobs/PvE to push back a spawn timer so you have a better chance to PvE while avoiding PvP. You lost the PvP early on. Your 'strat' is more for a blue server, when the option of PvP isn't available.

Strange, the Azrael and Force I talked to disagreed with this. A few of your members referred to this as a 'pussy strat' you decided to use after you already lost. Last time you tried this strat you had like 45 people (yes, you can argue the numbers but I had a level 1 in zone to keep track)... this time only 30.

I have to give credit to your members that actually enjoy pvp, and don't need mobs to win their battles (read: lose their battles) for them, and just logged or didn't show up.

You continue gloating on how you "steamroll" a guild up and coming when you have been established "max geared/leveled" for well over 5-6months now... You claim PVP and skill, what skill is there in golem wanding up and coming half geared 52-54s (6-8level advantage) with your maxed out melees and 3 bard groups Chain highsuning (another broken ass mechanic) healers/casters... I am sorry guy but there is 0 skill in that and its purely a level class advantage that you have over us atm....

Some will make it and some will fold, but eventually the levels will catch up, and the class disparity wont be so huge, and then and only then will their be skilled pvp per se.

So stop fucking gloating on your battles where as If I had the class make up you had and the level/gear advantage I can guarantee you we would win 95% of the fights even numbers....
Simply because I know the players I have are better than 99% of the ones you have and that's where skill would come into play.
