Damage shields should be doing full damage in PVP. Currently on red99 they are only doing 66%. I think everybody knows/remembers they did full damage in pvp, but here it prob. just got overlooked with all the other more important things going on when preparing for launch, and then balancing etc..

I know null covered the pvp spell resists, however I don't believe this would be complicated for anyone else to fix. Just make an exception for DS's?

In a quick google, info from 1999-2001 was sparse. Because it was ALWAYS 100% damage, there were never any patch notes and very few comments about it...

Post from 2001:
"I'm surprised you haven't commented on my suggestion to also nerf damage shields. Damage shields are the single biggest reason for rogues getting their butts kicked in PvP, I'd say (without having played a rogue to high levels in PvP). Right now they do 100% damage."

Hrm there was a third EMU with this bug-reported and fixed, but I seem to have lost the page.

Yeah well that is the case but good luck with this one and dealing with how buff order/rebuffing should work.

What'd help is if a certain someone who has a certain control over certain mechanics knew certain things.

The two forums could have better names:

Blue & Red Server Bugs
PVP Red-specific Server Bugs

And the third should be more clear, too!

3. Client-side Technical Discussion.
