I am trying to access everquest this afternoon and the EQemu Launcher just keeps repeating "Could not reach webserver. Trying again in 10 seconds."

The Project 1999 website says the server is up, is anyone else having this issue? Is it something with my setup?

I'm having the same issue.

I fixed it buy following these instructions:

http://www.eqemulator.org/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=PlayGuide

Jump to Step 4 - EQHost File

Having the same problem, tried changing host file with no success.

Getting:

Loading serverlist ...
Error while retrieving newest version.
Could not reach webserver. Trying again in 10 seconds.

Issue loops

Found a workaround in another thread, if you right click the system tray icon and select "Only start Everquest" you can login and play, not a fix but it gets you in

It is possible to just extract the files from eqchanges .zip located at the top of the latest patch notes thread.

I just tried this since my launcher isn't connecting, but the link is 404'd.

http://www.project1999.org/files/eqchangesv26.zip

File doesn't exist according to my browser.

Hey Nune,

Since he alluded to the fact that my link (and the link from the latest patch thread) was not current, I just changed the link manually

http://www.project1999.org/files/eqchangesv27.zip

That works for me. It isn't the link from the latest patch notes thread, but it is 1 version higher than that, so I hope it's the right one. Hope that works for you too.

If you click Home ^ on the forums, it should show you the homepage. There was a patch the following day.

Patch Notes: Monday, February 18th, 2013 (http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=98761)
