so whats the deal, can nihi train lemons at sol b with drakes and use there AE to kill me and no suspensions/bans?
azrael cant flop a sarnak on twainz alt cleric in chardok, but nizzar can flop a sarnak onto portahoe in chardok?
need some clear guidelines on this issue before i start clearing spys, which is a legit strat in my mind, and i think training/doing whatever it takes to get the spy out of the way is legit.

honestly i dont report/petition any of this cause i think its retarded, but twainz reporting/frapsing tomb flopping a sarnak onto him gets him suspended.
nihi needs to stop there petition bullshit honestly and just man up. i dont even want to have to ask these stupid fucking questions. fucks sake. this isnt blue server, this is red server where we handle shit ourselves.

That anyone is actually using spies is pretty sad. If you're going to train, please make sure you're actually training a spy. Training random newbies can't be good for the population.

i just think its dumb for the GM's to make a rule thats going to cause more work for them, i mean if they want me to petition and send a frapse everytime my spy gets trained, so be it.
just make sure it gets dealt with. or make it so training spys is ok. and be done with it.

I don't see this being good for anyone. We might as well be forced to run a public twitch when we log online so that nihilum can spy on us. If they are going to abuse game mechanics to spy on us in oor alts then we ought to be able to abuse game mechanics to defend ourselves. It's even worse that Insurance was rolling a massive train towards our entire guild and the person who gets suspended is the guy who trained the alt who was making it possible.

yup, this shit needs to be adressed asap, cut it off at the pass. as azrael just closed a huge gap and will actually be contesting nihi.
we need this rule revamped or clear guidelines put into place of what is acceptable or not.

what exactly is training.
now if i was pulling a mob to our camp, and i fd the mob near our raid and it happens to agro the spy? is that training? or is he just in the way of our pulling?
now if i pull a mob at AE's near the alt, while maintaining agro. is that training?

I asked Sirken this once and he told me he'd ask rogean and get back to me but never did. My guess would be naked level one chars or whatever no one cares but once it has gear and is mid twenties thirties whatever prolly gonna get in trouble.

what zones is this happening in? the level limit doesnt exist in certain zones for this exact purpose to my knowledge.
that being said, if a level 1 toon gets trained in traks lair, im not going to ban the trainer.

Chardok... Sirken tbh.. ima keep training spies.. legal or not.. so watch me.. If a low level is in a zone that they cant kill any of the mobs... then they have no reason being there and are assumed a spy...

It's happened to us on two occasions I am aware of. Chardok which resulted in tomb being banned which seems contradictory to your statement here, and kithicor forest.

Happened in Chardok, where the non existing level limit doesn't exist.

not sure if Agatha retarded or not?
if you fraps a train they get suspended, if you don't they can do it all they want unless a GM sees it.
been that way since day 1.

Where do you find drakes in sol b ?
Since SolB is all levels engaged for PvP i would assume that the 'trained' low level alt wasnt there.
Since drakes were mentioned, i assumed it was low level drakes in Lavastorm for a 'spy' alt that was zoning from lava into SolB and back out to monitor the SolB activity.
I guess i solved the riddle, but Ruban, you're smart, i know you coulda solved this had you not tried to play dumb.

so what im getting from this is, i can train the low lvls that clearly dont belong in the zone following the raid around, check.

Basically a level 10-15 has no reason to be in chardok aside from spying because they cant kill a damn thing. However a ~39-42 druid being in KC where mobs ARE killable should not be allowed to be trained. I keep fraps open 24/7 and turn it on when its needed. Nihi was fine with my druid being in KC the last few times with no training, Though today it happened twice but I am not sure if it was due to them getting overrun by mobs(half of them zoned out at same time even though they couldve killed the npcs) but I zoned immediately with them after only a few swings.

what about a 35 druid?! Where do you draw the line?!
for the sake of clarity, can you please list all the zones and what levels were allowed to train?

exactly my point, you should be able to train my 35 druid to get it away from u in chardok. and you did try, but im not dumb and would stay ontop of your main assist target mob, i watched you try to feign mobs onto me, you yourself. and you did it masterfully, if i had been frapsing i would have only seen you basically flop a mob really close to your raid while i was just far enough from the raid that i would get agro and not the raid.
what im trying to understand here is, if i was a bitch and send that frapse to a GM you would have gotten suspended just like tomb did. but i didn't cause i dont play like a blue bitch.
What i'd like to see happen is that these spys mine or yours be trainable and not be bannable/suspension offence.

Training was never legal in classic EQ pvp, though the rules were sporadically enforced.
What advantages do spies give their teams? Not saying they don't help, I'm actually asking because I don't entirely know. I'd rather see spies made illegal than training legal, but that's probably impossible to enforce.

DO TELL,, what has Azrael done in the last 2 months other than clear sky and 1 trakanon spawn that was left up by nihilum and killed by a 35 man 3 guild zerg staying up until the wee hours of the morning 6 am,, other than that from my outsider point of view,,, nihilum has taken 95% of the raid mobs and forced you out of ragefire 99% of the time
what is this gap you speak off

Yeah i remember training happening alot in classic and no one got banned.
This happened in KC, low lvls trying to get loot from bosses.

rarely was anyone banned for training on rz and ofc never on sz. however, training on any of the blue servers was pretty much an automatic suspension. Many a time I was suspended for training specs, cazel, and sand giants to docks on Druzzil Ro :)
