Hello amigos! After many years of life in the gutter I've decided to return to EverQuest where it all began! I'm currently hunting for a new computadora and really want to play p1999. I need to play to stay outta trouble. EQ titanium is extremely expensive and I'm a low lvl construction worker that has to pay muchos bucks to the courts just to stay free. I would like to pay somebody to rent their titanium client to install and play EQ. All my old friends are troublemakers and my gf only cares about high heels and appearances so I need an outlet; I need eq in my life. Please message me or email at primumjeffers@gmail.com and whem I. Its pretty easy to stay away from jail just don't hang with idiots who get you in trouble. As for finding the software online. Yar, your best option. Ignore the kid above, if you start downloading 5000 movies and every game that's NEW then yeah you might want to worry, they only bother the people who are really causing them money loss.

Thanks friends. I did search for it but apparently not long enough. Yeah I doubt Sony cares if you pirate a game you can download for free and now play for free. I actually had to go play live oh em gee and I hate to admit I enjoyed. Its so easy nowadays. One half day of playing as a troll and I already got equipped well and almost lvl 12. But maybe with P1999 I can capture a serene, if pussy-less, and simpler time. Now I just need to build a cardboard hovel with ethernet so I can play as much as possible. Can anyone tell me where I can download a program to fix my relationship with my gf? I told her me playing EQ will fix our relationship but Lordy knows anything which diverts attention from her and her rants about how hot she is and how fat and slutty any girl I've ever slept with is, or my favorite discussion, how fat she is getting at 120lbs. Or how she needs gas. Or what she should wear to accompany me to an AA mtg so she can speak up about her issues as a non alcoholic. She might not be a typical alcoholic but when she gets drunk the bitch has more aggro than an ogre in Kaladim (first ever EQ reference to a real life situation)... uh! And worst of all... her computer? Yeah, its a fucking mac. Here I sit on the toilet contemplating how to escape and run to somebody else's house with a pc so I can play EQ. Yes she's beautiful and has nice sexy parts and I do love her but she can't help me play. Update: she just walked in the bathroom and ruined my happy shitting time to interrogate me about whatever. I miss Jebartik. He never questioned him. He always attacked when I told him to and would die for me. Why can't she be more like Jebartik? It's really a shame that p1999 has to hide like this. I wish SOE would work with p1999 to make it legit. Besides, I don't think a eq1 classic server like this would work in a modern commercial environment. So I really do not think SOE would lose anything by allowing this community to officially exist legally and with free access to the titanium client. People expect great graphics and modern gameplay mechanics in modern products; no corpse runs, no death exp loss, less harsh rules, etc. Nothing is lost by doing this. Why're they stalling? It would help the eq franchise by preserving a memory of its early years and giving it good longstanding humble roots.

We do not threaten SOE. I believe we're extremely hardcore and too small a community. We're also eq diehards that hold onto its memory and partially play it because we played it so many years ago.

I DO have a problem with some of the eqemulator servers being too much like the modern eq. I mean, once they start emulating SOF and SOD and so on, that's too close IMHO to be fair.

It's sad that p1999 has to be wrapped up in this whole thing. It's worth saving. It's the one and only place in hte whole world where you can find a running version of eq as it (mostly) existed some 12+ years ago. IMHO, it has tremendous historical value in terms of gaming history.

Btw, the mac version of EQ is free-2-play. It's better than the eqemulated because it's official. So no worries about whether or not it hurts SOE. You can login and be relaxed and have fun. Plus, it doesn't have an in-game map. It only goes up to POP. IMHO, it's a good hardcore-like experience.
