Hill giants

Think a 34 Mage could take on hill giants in Rathe? Water pet? Earth pet?

I've never played a mage but HG's have about 2.4-2.8k hp's and double for 80's. You could probably do it slowly, I was just doing it yesterday in a trio and we could keep them all down. (Druid, Chanter, Wiz)

i killed one the other day with my level 30 necromancer. it took three attempts though, and i used an entire bar of mana on just the successful attempt.

Probably could. Chain fire pets tho.
