Games to play, PC

Been hunting on steam for games to play, and its basically the inverted situation from when i was a teenager: Money but no good games to play.

I might try Deus Ex, or NWN 2.

Any suggestions of games i might have missed that were pretty good?

I like scifi games alot, ive played endless space which is allrite recently.

I also like RPGs, is path of exile any good?

Ran into a brick wall of EQ grinding fatigue, so i cant play that for some time

Thats my problem too, ive probably played most games worth playing in the genres XD

Is fallout: New Vegas worth it? Ive played everything else to death in the series

I thought mass effect was allrite, the first one. One gripe is i felt the ability to land on planets was a big tease as you dont have large planets with alot of stuff to explore.

Mass effect 2 and 3 brings the quality up a bit? Might wait for a sale and grab all 3

Yeah not sure why i didnt pick up New Vegas. Guess because ive grown used to bethesda mods and then having FO3 crashing the fuck out as soon as i installed any kind of mods.

I really liked playing with the hardcore mod where one headshot killed you, and having to clean reinstall and trying a new load order after the 3rd time really demotivated me in playing the game at all.

Ive been conspiracy theorizing that they made the game more crash prone so people stuck with "official mods"

Been reading good reviews everywhere so i guess imma pick it up on steam with all the download content for 20 bucks.

I would really dig a game like starflight or freelancer, the X series wasnt up to par IMO, i dont get why a company didnt make a followup to these kind of games.

Spore, the 5th part somewhat did that, but wasnt up to par either.

Download mods selectively so you don't jeopardise your saves or crash/lockup, and fire away. Mods that adjust Light&Vision, and Food&Drink highly recommended for maximum imersion, among others. Also, Ak47 and AM1 gun mods +

I also fell victim to buying DIII, don't let that mistake prevent you from buying and playing the greatest PC video game series in the history of PC games. Starcraft II should be a no brainer if you have the cash.

I have Bastion, never got really far in though, didnt seem to suck me in. Cool artwork for sure, funny voice over.

I liked hotline miami, played it.

One funny title i bought yesterday on steam is "DLC quest" where you have to buy moving left and jumping add on pack (with coins in-game, no real money). Funny satire on the state of gaming 2013, worth the 3 bucks.

I played D3 when it came out, Was catchy and got hooked but then got bored immediately after finishing inferno at 60 and quit, Came back after the IAS nerfs and then paragon levels got added. Got 72 paragon levels on my barb and 40 on my monk(pre sweeping winds/fotl bug fix) while stacking ruby/hellfire ring/leorics 30% for max exp % boost. Now 3-4 weeks ago I got hooked on P99 and I have a barb on D3 worth hundreds of dollars in gear alone and monk half that. But screw selling the items cuz blizzard taxes the real money auction house so much if you use paypal.

So I decided to just keep the gear and ill fall back on D3 when I get bored of EQ or burned out, My barbarian was top 100 worldwide a bit over a month ago sitting around 60k hp with 310k dps self buffed(350k with a 2h Skorn) and 450k+ with wotb up. the RMAH generates so much money for blizzard, D3 is probably their biggest cash cow I bet they have made almost as much off sale taxes since release then WoW subscription fees since its '04 release. I just really dislike the fact some dickhead can hop on D3 and have the best gear in the game by dropping $1-2k or more. D3 PVP sucks and is no where near complete, The game is a utter waste of time right now unless you play the market to make money. Hopefully in 6months to a year they will have better features and worked out dueling/pvp to a better way and people will play it again. Gold is down to like 3-5 cents a million compared to back when i was getting roughly $25/mil all the way down to $3/mil when I stopped making money off D3.

Eador came with the similar, older game free. Its a mix of civilization and heroes of might and magic, only played an hour and its fucking great. New game releases in 2 weeks

Sang froid looks cool too, i havent had time to have a good sit down with it though

Playing path of exile right now, its pretty fun

Cant beleive it completely destroys diablo3 as a freetoplay game

I beleive its the first f2p game ive played that doesnt seem like crippleware and on par with AAA titles, the only thing is stash space might get cramped for more than 2 characters and u can buy a ton for 20$

I rolled a witch farming toon first and about to get on the level 28 pvp action, wouldnt mind having a pvp partner, fremme is my witchs name in-game, hit me up
