The NPC simply returns heads on turn in. Very frustrating, took me 5 hours to get all 3 heads because the bandits killed me 1st attempt. Please post when fixed.

I fixed it.
Cause this isn't anywhere near a classic quest.

To be more specific, this quest was in at classic but never worked until 2005 when the badass mask was added as a reward. Do you really expect a teens quest to reward

Sad part: I spent 2 days in beta fixing this quest. Yammering, hammering & cajoling only for someone to remind me that it was broken until Luclin and got a bad ass non-classic reward attached...so I had to go and break all that I had just wrought. Fun times.

Why not just change the reward and nerf the mask a little bit? half the stats or something, but it would REALLY be nice to have more working quests in the game, even if they were broken in classic. This server isn't pure classic, and it shouldn't try to be so hardcore about it in such an inconsistent way. Please, fix the quest and if the reward isn't appropriate as it is, then maybe change the reward? I'd love to see more quests on this server, ones that were always broken on live be fixed, with rewards appropriate to the era and everything. It could seriously enrich the game. Please consider this, all you hard working programmers here. This game doesn't have to just be a replica of classic, it can be improved in so many ways. Maybe make a poll on the subject or something to see what the players would think. Remember, the rewards need to be on par with the era, and more content is good.

This server is as close to classic as can be given our limited resources and/or issues that cannot be resolved client-side. We are not in the business of submitting to deliberately non-classic changes based on this logic.
