GOP Denies Women Equal Opportunity to Conscription

In a thinly veiled attempt to reaffirm the inferiority of women, House GOP members have refused to allow women the right to be compelled to fight for their nation.

House democrats were outraged at the diminished opportunity to denigrate the right half of our idiocracy for their shameless refusal to openly vote on women's equality. Republicans were of course quick to offer a substantive excuse: more research is needed before the prohibition could be lifted.

GOP members sought to further obfuscate their blatant assault on women's liberties with misdirection, suggesting the entire secret service may be due for retirement.

Senate versions of the bill retain the provision for women's liberties which at present seems safe from the slightly less repugnant brand of conservatism practiced by Majority Leader McConnel. Expect more debate on this very important issue in the near future.

Ahh in the near future they'll just get in the way anyway. Battlefields will be full of drones, mechs, androids, half human half horse/gorilla/elephant/eagle/tyrannosaurus rex people. I don't have a problem with women serving in the military, but they shouldn't serve in combat/front line roles... it's all nice and ethical until they get captured/raped/tortured, or mentally break down etc.

Anyway, also swish is just trolling he can't seriously believe he has the right to determine what a woman can or can't do...... or endure...

Also. If I could have undergone srs and transitioned I'd still be serving this fine country, but that is not an option. IMO I think transgender people should be able to serve in the military.

Women, and transgender people are far more cunning and dedicated to defending what is right and their babies then dumb drunk guys who just want to be cool/heros.

They get combat pay for working the supply lines, so conscription should be mandatory. Gop can always fall back to how to fund the budget increase needed due to the influx in registration for selective services. Men have to register for a potential draft and so should women. Just basic legal fairness.

There's plenty of non-combat positions to fill in a war if your afraid of giving a woman a gun.

But really are we going to be sexist like in world war two and make woman work in factorys and be nurses when some are clearly more capable then the men we have on the front lines. Why not let them prove it.
